Technology Update, Thanks to Mid-South RC&D Council

The Friends of Loachapoka Public Library, Inc. has received a generous grant from the Mid-South Resource Conservation & Development Council.  With the $3,800 donation, the library will be purchasing an all-in-one fax machine/scanner/copier/printer, ink cartridges, a checkout desk laptop, an iSmart security system and some iPad minis.  We hope to add to this technology improvement next year with a projector and screen in order to host movie nights for a book club in the future.  We believe that the library is a center for information gathering, learning, understanding, and studying.  We have the books we need [of course, we are always updating books and finding “new” classics to host in the library], but our new technology definitely improves the library’s database.  http://www.loachapokapubliclibrary.org/announcements/technology-update-thanks-to-mid-south-rcd-council
