RESOURCE CONSERVATION & DEVELOPMENT

THE MID-SOUTH MISSION

In 1993, the Mid-South RC&D Council was formed to improve our communities’ quality of life and economic well-being by enhancing human and natural resources through education and involvement in response to the needs of our region. Since then, we’ve worked to fill regional gaps in education, community improvement, and economic development through projects that enhance and improve the lives of citizens!

EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH

We help provide opportunities throughout our region with projects focused on community education and training programs.

COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT

Quality of life is our mission and that starts within our communities. We help facilitate funding community recreation, facilities, and services in our region.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

We support local economies within our region by filling gaps in workforce development, tourism efforts, and resource conservation.
